We are seeking a passionate and experienced Esports player to support our team in delivering
engaging team esports activities focused on technology experiences, including competitive gaming.
As an Esports Coach, you will work with players, providing coaching, guidance, and facilitating hands-on experiences in Esports through the Nintendo Switch platform.
Your role will be instrumental in raising awareness of career opportunities and developing essential
skills related to technology while fostering a vibrant Esports and gaming environment within our branch
esport sites.

Hours: Monday and Tuesday evenings 5:00pm - 7:15pm

Perform other duties and assignments as deemed necessary or important by the sports
Director.

• Plan, develop, and implement Esports and technology-focused program activities for players 6-
  14.
• Identify or develop curriculum tailored for youth and teens participating in Esports programs.
• Coach, guide, and mentor students in competitive gaming, offering expertise in targeted Esports
  games (e.g., Smash Bros., Rocket League, Mario Kart, Fortnite, Minecraft) and competitions.
• Assist in scheduling, promoting, and recruiting participants for Esports programming, including
  special events and tournaments.
• Collaborate with other instructors to provide training, coaching, and model Esports program
  implementation.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in the Esports industry.
• Ensure the maintenance, safety, and age-appropriateness of Esports and technology
  equipment.
• Track attendance and outcomes of Esports programming, maintaining accurate records.
• Promote the conduct, safety, and positive development of Club members.
• Ensure that Esports achieves target goals, objectives, and deliverables within specified
  timelines.
• Maintain program areas by assisting in cleanliness and maintenance as required.
• Support other instructors in meeting program goals, objectives, and outcomes.
• Market Esports programming to target audiences and community partners to enhance support
  and participation.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for up to 8 hours a day.
• Capability to push or lift objects up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort in handling high noise levels for extended periods.

• Bachelor's degree or AA degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive knowledge of targeted Esports games and competitions.
• At least 2 year of experience in Esports/gaming, with tournament competition experience
  preferred.
• Professionalism and exceptional communication skills.
• Technological competency, willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies as necessary.
• Ability to pass a reference check and background check.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• At least 1-2 years’ experience working with school aged children
