Overview

Under the supervision of the Executive Branch Director, the Bear Valley Camp Supervisor is responsible for the operation of Bear Valley Resident Camp of the YMCA of Superior California. General administrative duties include staff training, supervision, recognition, and fiscal management of respective department, program development and quality control.

Responsibilities

● Human Resource Management, orients, train, supervise all staff necessary.
● Program Management; ensure quality and excellence in program services.
● Assist in promoting programs to meet targeted enrollments.
● Manage camp registration.
● Facility Management; supervise and monitor effective utilization of facility resources.
● Monitor safety, cleanliness, preventative maintenance and repairs for program areas.
● Must have the visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents and the physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency situation.
● Must have the ability to adequately observe participant activities, enforce safety regulations, and apply appropriate policies and procedures.
● Must have the physical ability to lead and interact in-group activities and perform related physical skills.
● All other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Qualifications

● Baccalaureate Degree or appropriate professional certification.
● Minimum of 25 years old.
● Minimum 2 seasons of administrative or supervisory experience in organized camp.
● Minimum 5 years of camp and youth programs with related age group.
● Current certification in First Aid, CPR, and Lifeguarding.
● Not mandatory, but preferred class B license

USD $960.00 - USD $1,000.00 /Wk.
